3+ Hours - Winslow Death March

Length = +/- 70 miles.
Terrain = Flat to hilly.
Scenery = Good to excellent.

Winslow Death March - Aptly named, this is a very difficult ride. There are a few demanding climbs along the way along with several rolling hills thrown into the mix to spice things up. The beautiful scenery along the way will more than make up for the brutal climbs you have to endure. These directions are in a counter-clockwise direction as that leaves the flatter section of the ride for the ride home.

From FBC, travel Hwy. 71 business south to West Fork. Once at West Fork, turn off southwest onto Hwy. 170 pointing you towards Devil's Den State Park. Once you reach the intersection of St. Hwys. 170 & 156, you will be on the Joe Martin Loop. Continue on Hwy. 170 for approximately 17 miles until you reach Devil's Den State Park. Once in Devil's Den State Park, take St. Hwy. 74 east up a long gradual climb with several switchbacks. Continue east on Hwy. 74 until you come to the town of Winslow. Once in Winslow, turn north or left onto U.S. Hwy 71 towards Fayetteville passing through Brentwood, West Fork and Greenland along the way.
