Chicken Loop - This loop is a relatively short loop through northwest Fayetteville and
South Springdale, and the majority is through urban and rural developed areas. Traffic can be fairly
heavy at the right time of day.
Use the same directions to get
to wheeler as the Wheeler Loop. Once in Wheeler, follow Mt. Comfort Road north approximately 2 miles
until you come to Co. Rd. # 90 on the right or east side of Mt. Comfort Road. Turn right onto Co. Rd. #90.
Follow this highway east approximately 2 miles to its intersection with State Highway 112. Turn left onto 112
and then turn immediately right back onto Co. Rd. # 90. When you come to what appears to be a "Y" in the road,
go left on Co. Rd. # 886. Go approximately 1 mile north and turn right onto Co. Rd. # 886. Go across Hwy. 71/I-540
into Springdale. Go past the Randall Tyson Sports Complex to a T intersection with 40th Street. Turn left and travel
approximately 1/4 mile to a 3 way stop sign. Turn right onto Chapman Ave. Go approximately 1/2 mile to Johnson Road
and 4 way stop sign. Turn right at the 4 way stop sign and haul ass to the Johnson City Limits sprint sign. Make your
way back. Follow Johnson Road into Johnson. (hint: when you come to the train tracks, turn right to miss the gigantic
hill immediately in front of you.) Once in Johnson, find Gregg Street and follow it back to Fayetteville to the origin
of your journey.
